Family is taken to be the foundation of our lives. For those who possess it-by blood or by choice-it gives love, support, and a feeling of belonging. Family ties are important in shaping an individual into who they become and how they feel. So, let’s look at why family really matters.

Unconditional Love and Support
At the core of a family is unconditional love that watches over hearts at the high and low times. It must be a truly wonderful feeling to know that you can always get support when you need it. Our sense of belonging is broader than an extended family circle, but it reaches out to chosen connections for a close-feeling sense of community.

Shared Values and Traditions
Such things as values and beliefs, and even traditions-gotten from our families-do help define us; also holidays and special rituals which remind one of his or her close relations and hence prolong the feeling of history and continuity…
